Remember The Rose
Meeting Heath Ledger’s Daughter Matilda Rose.
In the summer of 2008,…
Camilyn woke from a dream with a lyric and melody running through her mind “…when you think of me forget the thorns and remember the rose…”
These were the words and melody that carried her from Daybreak, UT to Brooklyn, New York where her dream literally came true. Long story short, in her dream the late actor, Heath Ledger’s daughter, Matilda, was running around a corner towards her arms outstretched, and before the awaited embrace her dream ended, however the song and burning in her heart did not.
She listened to the remainder of the song on a manmade "beach" in Daybreak, UT. Then after recording it hopped on a plane with her sister and without an address in hand flew to New York, in attempt to find this little girl and deliver the song into the hands and arms it was written for.
After a string of miracles to her overwhelming delight, she found this girl not unlike finding a needle in a haystack among the crowded streets in NY. It was in Brooklyn she felt the arms of the long awaited embrace from her dream happening right before her eyes, as she was able to hand her and her nannies the song, and receive that long awaited hug in return. Her mother, actress Michelle Williams emailed her a few weeks later thanking her, and Heath Ledger’s father over the phone thanked her as well. This became the foundation and purpose for her life, to help and heal others through the power of dreams and music.
